Not so sure about this one.
It is such a personal battle that I should not venture an opinion.
Abraham Lincoln was noted for being melancholy and I doubt it was a choice.
I am not sure we are always supposed to be happy. But I am very sure we are not always supposed to be down.
Fine is a decision not a condition.
For myself, melancholy is a luxury I cannot afford, or at least, do not want to invest in with any of my mental capital.
