In the beginning,
when God made the world, God knew,
iPhones were coming
When I read the Bible on my iPhone or iPad it occurs to me that while I am amazed at the volume of information, notes and translations available at my fingertips thanks to handheld technology, God is not.
God knew about iPads before Genesis 1:1 was ever written down by human hands.
When John writes, In the Beginning was the Word, God knew that John’s writings would be available around the world in 2000 years or so by iPhone.
We can well be amazed at human technological achievement, but God isn’t.
Amused maybe, at the reactions, but not amazed.
